Who will be the first to win a world title of the six on HBO tonight?

All of the six fighters on tonight's HBO broadcast are in their 20's.

    Who has the most potential?

Guererro has had a world title in the past. But who will be the first to win one in the future?

I voted for Ortiz, but I'm a big fan of Kirkland.. Just think that when he eventually faces Angulo for the belt it will be much harder than what Ortiz will probably have to face to get it..

Actually now thinking about it..it could be any one of them..there are soo many straps..so the fighter to get one the fastest? Prolly depends on the promotors

i got Guerrero cause gbp have already stated that they're going to chase a tittle if he wins 2nite ... and hes already a former belt holder ... so it makes the most sense imo ...

The winner of Kirkland/Julio wouldn't have the toughest route to a title if he faces the winner of Latimore/Spinks.

Guererro has an excellent chance at super featherweight, because of the less than formidable opponents there, namely Baloyi, and the winner of Cook-Martinez.

Ortiz has the most talent, but his division is stronger with the titleholders being Bradley (soon to have two titles), the hard-hitting Urango, and Kotelnik.

If by title you mean a strap, then Robert Gurrero has already won that race, since he is already a 2 time IBF 126 titlist.

If you don't count Guerrero's previous title reign as part of the question, then I would still vote for him since 130 is all of a sudden depleted. The titlists are a good but not truly great Baloyi, unproven Linares, up and down Soto (best titlist of the bunch), and good but not unbeatable Cook.

Of the others Yordan is still pretty much a nobody, Arnaoutis is off the map is he loses tonight, Kirkland & Julio will be very close to a title shot if they win tonight but both are still to raw for the win, and Ortiz is still working his way up (I think his management want to be extra careful and pick the right spot for him).

If by world title you mean hold the ring belt, unify the titles or be considered the undisputed #1 in a division, I think its just as likely none of them ever hold that distinction.

Read my opening post - I mentioned Gurerro's past win, and specified the question was "who will win in the future?"

I didn't mean the undisputed #1 in a division, but I think Ortiz may be the heir apparent to Hatton at 140.

Yeah I figured you didnt count Guerrero's previous win (though yes I didnt read the post) and thats why I addressed Guerrero's future prospects.

As for the last part, I included it because there are some elitist posters who say "straps mean nothing". I think Ortiz will have trouble gaining the distinction of #1 at 140 because once Hatton is gone there won't really be a "The Man" in that division for others to fight for that distinction, and he will have to beat several other fighters who may have arguments.

We'll see, because Julio will test his chin tonight.
