Im not ready to throw him under the bus ..yea he did beat Vanda but he's still hasn't proven anything yet...

        he's still pretty young though..only about 22-23...

I see lazyiness in him though...I don't think he has enough discipline to be in top shape...thats something he can change..will he though? IDK.

I can tell alot of you guy in this boxing site are very young ( NOT TO DISS ANYBODY). The people that are running chavez jr's carrier are doing the same thing that they did with his father chavez sr. Julio cesar chavez jr didn't have an amatur background so what they're doing is giving him easy fights so they could build up his confidence. In 2 years from now you will see that everything that they being doing for him is good. They can't just send him in with lion's went he still is a cub look what happen to vargas vs tito good exsample he never was the same fighter again. HE HAS TO MATURE MORE AND LEARN BOXING MORE BEFORE THEY PUT HIM IN WITH GREAT FIGHTER'S. Chavez jr will be a great fighter went he mature right now hes like a 50% went he starts to get his confidence up you will see a much better chavez jr and he will do great things for this sport that's dieing everyday because you got fighter like mayweather that has all the talent in the world and he prefer's not to give the fans the fight's that we want. Believe me guys went the time comes you will like chavez jr. This kid will be like his father that he took on all comers WENT THE TIME IS RIGHT. One thing that i don't like from chavez jr is that hes kinda lazy. He should train more so he could stay in shape cause i'm pretty shore he kills his self to make weight he should stay in the gym went hes not fighting.

I think as long as they let him fight his style(like he did in the second vanda fight) and dont push him into fighting like his dad(like they did in the first Vanda fight) I see him being a pretty good championship level fighter. He is still very young and could yes a few more years of B+ compatition before he goes after the A+ fighters.

credit for what? he's been fighting since he was like 8 years old and he's still aint done ****... De La Hoya fought Paez when he was 22 and then fought Chavez when he was 23, this kinda indicates that Chavez Jr wont amount to ****. he's about to turn 24 and still has nthing, even Juan Diaz was the unified lightweight champ at 24 years old, Vargas was a Jr Middleweight champ at 23 years old.

if you fall for the no amateur record bull**** from the chavez camp you're ll some blind pathetic morons with no boxing knowledge, go to youtube and you will see chavez jr vs paez jr at 8 years old fighting infront of a crowd.
