So Mayweather, who used to come in at 148-149 to fight WW, but hasn't fought in 15 months, and will likely be over a year and a half inactive, will only weigh 6 lbs more than Marquez, who came in at 140 a few days ago?

Almost 4 years ago dude, you know, when Marquez was fighting at featherweight?

A catch weight would be perfect but to drag Floyd back in the ring Marquez would probably have to give up every chance he has of taking this fight and take whatever money Floyd is willing to give him, should be a good fight regardless.

Mayweather weight when he does not box is 159. I would be confident he would not outweigh JMM more than 6 pounds

Can he make SFW weight now?? NO

The weight difference between JMM and PBF is overstated

6 lbs is just a number you pulled out of thin air. No matter how many times you repeat it, it's still completely meaningless. Mayweather is the bigger fighter and will also be the much younger fighter. Nice move for someone claiming to be the greatest fighter ever.

Dude, he was fighting at SFW last year. He has a much better chance of still making it than Floyd does LW, which is where this fight should happen to have any type of credibility.

WTF Has to be at 135

Mayweather moves downs and JMM moves up, it's even

How is he too big??? You justify that

                  Pacman is 5'6 1/2 Mayweather is 5'7
Pacman is 148 fight night Mayweather is 148 fight night

****, Mayweather is picking on the much smaller fighter

Mayweather is more along the lines of 5'8, while Marquez is more 5'6ish.

Also the main difference here, isn't the actual size, but Marquez will not retain his speed going up in weight like Pacquiao does. It's obvious he has lost some each time he has gone up.

Pacquiao lost barely any speed going from 135 to 147, which is why that match up is ok. JMM would lose the speed. He doesn't have the style to move up in weight like Pacquiao, Trinidad, or other people do.
