Im talking about the Floyd negotiations and more specificialy the weight? Am I the only one shocked by this? I mean, Floyd may cant come down in weight anymore but there not even trying. The 1st thing out both of there mouths is that we will fight him at a catch weight of 144 or whatever. How do you know that he cant get down in weight? Why dont you try to negotiate it? Floyd is the big man in boxing and will call alot of shots but he wants these 2 fights so I actually think he would give in on some things that dont have to do with money and he's never been a big guy anyway.
I mean look at Hatton. Him and Floyd have talked about a rematch and Hatton has always said that if they fight again then it will have to be at 140 and maybe even in England. People are smoking if they think Hatton will give in. He may fight in the US but he's definatly not fighting over 140 and guess what? Floyd made it sound like it was ok. I think Floyd would come down for Hatton so why wouldnt he do it for the other 2? Its ****** because there not even trying. I could see if they battled over if for a long time and had to settle for 144 but there just automaticaly caving and I think Floyd is saying to himself "ok, that was easy". I think Floyd probably already had his mind set on the fact that he had to come down to 140 for these fights and then they said 144 and he thinks he's getting a gift.
E****ally, JMM. Whats up with him? Atleast Pac is a big guy and has proven to be pretty strong at the higher weights. I think JMM is almost just sounding desperate for the fight like he thinks that Floyd wont fight him unless he gives way in but I think Floyd does want to fight him probably even more then JMM does and he would give in. It makes no sense to me. As a Floyd fan though, I love it because I always thought he could go down in weight but I was always worried about what would happened when he then had to go back to WW, since he never was a full blown WW anyway. Now that shouldnt be a problem when he goes for the Shane and or Cotto fight
