    BoxingScene.com has learned that Jorge Barrios has suffered an eardrum injury during training camp and was forced to withdraw from his upcoming lightweight bout with Carlos Hernandez. The fight was going to be televised on April 4 as part of Golden Boy's "Lightweight Lightning" pay-per-view from San Antonio, Texas. [details]

        Jose Armando Santa Cruz seems like the logical replacement...Or David Diaz. David Diaz would actually be a nice fit.

                Santa Cruz is a better fit IMO because he's a decent puncher with a vulnerable chin. He makes for explosive fights.
