Nobody can touch HBO on boxing programming. It's the king of HBO Sports as far as I'm concerned.

And Greenberg has done a wonderful job of running a tight ship for so long, which is no easy task unless you have an excellent mastermind team who are great at what they do, not to mention the talented staff behind the scenes.

Crappy undercards and fights will inevitably happen, but HBO is not in the management of boxers' performance business. Thats the job of fighters and their managers to put on a great show.

HBO is simply great at marketing and promoting fights, many of which turn out to be major blockbusters and fights of the year.

Again, thank Dana White, the UFC and MMA for FORCING Boxing and HBO to step up. Decisions like the Citron/Martinez FIASCO have to stop though. That was pathetic and they need to make that obsolete in Boxing.

Please, If HBO goes away Showtime or some one else will jump right up to take their place. Then we won't have to listen to that insufferable pack of misfits they call commentators.

If I was FORCED to pick between HBO and Showtime, I'd pick Showtime. No doubt about it.

                HBO canada sucks

HBO canada was launched last month. They advertised for the mosley-margarito and diaz-marquez and ended up playing tennis. They forced me no choice to steel the american signal.

good read until he mentioned Floyd. Made me think about the most borring fight of the decade: Baldomir vs floyd
not sure if HBO did that one?
