Rodriguez Drops, Outlasts Alvarez In Title Eliminator

By Jake Donovan - It’s been nearly a year worth of frustrations and mental anguish for welterweight contender Delvin Rodriguez. First forced to contend with the drama of watching Oscar Diaz slip into a coma after ten rounds of their brutal Friday Night Fights bout last July, then settling for a disputed draw with Isaac Hlatshwayo last November, the Dominican was long overdue for good fortunes to come his way. 12th round was GREAT!..

I liked Rodriguez' heart tho..he felt his right wrist broken and still faught a HELL of a fight..and when he kept it strictly..Jab, Jab, Left Hook!..he was doin good too!..lol

Props to Alvarez for that 12th Round Rally as well..he packed a decent punch he just couldn't get the taller Rodriguez down!..

What I also noticed is that 2 judges had it 114-113 so that KD decided the win..otherwise it would have been a Majority Draw..Boooo!!!!...lol

This was a great fight i tought Alvarez won the fight 114-113, but Rodriguez, showed some balls, when he hurted his right hand in the 8 and he still KD Alvarez in the 11 with that same right hand.

But after watching the 2, they are very good b class fighters, they will never win a title, but they reallly can put a good show.

I hope Rodriguez gets areamtch with Hlatswayo and avenge that Bull **** draw. The winner of those 2 shoul be the IBF 1 conteder.

Again props to both for the good fight.

This year has been awesome for boxing. Even the prospects with 3 or 4 fights are putting good shows. This is way Ill never swtch to man hugging(MMA)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
