He could fight Berto and probably knock him out but this will be very very hard fight for Cotto.
Lot of fighters today wants to go easy way but Cotto look for thoughest guys in his division!
cotto gets props for making this fight.... lets just hope that the judges and refs do either job fairly.
ugh, that was a tune up/comeback fight.
only **** like you hate on his resume @ ww.
only **** like you ****ride him every single second and give him credit for fighting a sorry opponent. i wasnt hating on his entire resume at welterweight, i just stated the fact that he fought a sorry fighter in Jennings.. you are a sorry fan boy, take cotto's penis out your mouth and maybe you'll be able to understand things clearly and wont start silly battles..

and what if he fought a sorry opponent? mayweather did that almost his whole career at ww.
it doesn't matter if he fights a sorry opponent here and there as long as he fights the best, which is what he is doing.
So is the fight official then? All I've read is that it's close to being done. If Cotto indeed picked Clottey over Berto and Cintron, then props to him! Picking Cintron would've been a *****-move, picking Berto would've made for a short, but exciting fight, but by picking Clottey he's picking the toughest challenge of the three. Good for him if he really picked him!
thats the least he can do after fighting michael jennings
Yea, but in his defense, it was a short cut at a title. I mean, if Cotto couldn't get a title out of that, he would have fought someone better. A shortcut to a title gained him leverage in future negotiations, so it was a smart business move.
I can look past it as long as he fights top competition from here on out.
