Cotto vs. Clottey is Nearly Complete For June 13 at MSG

I don't think it's valid for people to say Margarito used loaded gloves at this point. I believe it is a strong possibility he did but the fact is he didn't get caught & Cotto's uncle said he didn't see anything illegal during the wrapping. I'm sure if Margarito/Capetillo tried to cheat with Mosley they probably did it
to Cotto, BUT we don't know that for sure. Here's my point, I knew Margarito would beat Cotto from when the first time the fight was announced because Margarito's style nullified Cotto's. Cotto is an aggressive puncher who comes forward and Margarito is a bigger guy with a durable chin & comes forward punching non stop.

Once Cotto couldn't hurt or back down Margarito he was clueless on how to beat him because like it or not Cotto's power and being able to back fighters up is a big advantage for him but when he has faced guys he couldn't back down the fight became difficult (Mosley/Margarito). No matter if plaster played a part or not in Cotto's loss, bottom line, Margarito's style of fighting trumped Cotto's. Cotto would have NEVER have had to quit or take that much punishment if he had a smarter game plan going in the ring against Margarito.

I don't think the plaster should be an excuse for Cotto's loss because Clottey fought Marg & didn't get beat like that & Williams beat him....So, if Plaster played a part in Margarito's passed fights then you would have to count them fighters but they clearly fought Margarito better than Cotto did.

People are taking **** too personal. We as boxing fans, just need to stick to boxing and leave the other BS out of these forums. I admit I was culprit of that, however I'm just sticking to boxing now and letting the other BS just flow.

I also want to see him rematch Mosley and beat him more decisively (if possible) to remove all question about the first match..which I, personally, had Cotto clearly winning..since he can't rematch Margarito unless, of course, it's in Mexico..and I don't blame Cotto for not taking that..that's a bull**** stipulation..

but hopefully, as a boxing fan, I can only hope and pray for a Margarito-Cotto rematch..cuz even tho Cotto lost..it WAS A WAR!!!..and as a boxing fan that's what I LOVE!..

fan but I did give him points for picking Clottey out of the 3 options he had.
If Miguel Cotto beats Joshua Clottey on June 13th I will give him props.
