Valero wasn't licensed in the United States. His license is from Venezuela I believe, and they said he could fight on their soil. He wasn't cleared to fight in the United States, until recently. He never had his license revoked. FYI it is illegal for any boxer to fight someone that has a suspended or revoked license. You can look that up in your states Athletic Commision.

Ok like you just said. Cotto has never made any excuses. He has stated repeatedly that Margarito was the better man that night and accepted his lose. Same as Margarito. Cotto can't be held accountable for the comments that radical fans say.
