I would say yes but it wouldn't be easy. Castillo in his prime was a beast.

Take weight out of the occasion.......and Mayweather is still a better fighter

Not everyone can climb weight divisions like Pacquiao, Oscar or Floyd

JMM is a small LW FFS

JMM beat JLC, I swear people should respect someone else's opinion but how the hell will JMM deal with a strong pressure fighter like JLC, how will he keep him off, distance himself or better yet, how many times will JMM get off the canvas

only way I see JMM winning is if the fight's at 135

i have no idea what the thread starter is trying to do or what is going with that statement.

even though i would love to see JMM beat mayweather, but, it's a completely up hill battle, mayweather has every physical advantage against JMM, size, power, speed, and a set of skills that is equal to JMM, so it's very underdog position marquez would be in if they were to fight..........

i think that marquez could win, but it would have to be a performance of a life time................. it could be done, just not as easy as the thread starter thinks.

as far as i'm concerned, i would rather watch JMM fight anyone, i have no desire to ever watch floyd in the ring again...............because once floyd comes back, match making and actual fights being made will slow down to a near stop for everyone holding out to find out if they'll get a shot at floyd, all the while us fans will get denied the fights and the match ups that we deserve as paying customers while fighters and their lawyers and their promoters will be holding out like they were prior to floyd leaving, it wasn't only until floyd retired to where boxing got better. 2008 was a great year for boxing, why? you say? i say because their was no reason to wait to see what was going to happen to floyd, fighters went on with their lives and made fights that would've normally been on the shelf if floyd was still in the picture.................

floyd **** fans think mayweather can beat everyone just because hes undefeated, so far mayweathers biggest fights are fantasy fights that should never take place because he beats them in their dreams anyways.
