Well Valuev is bad, too, but not that bad an about 24cm taller and half a man heavier.

80% of pre 1950 fighters are overrated as hell.
what he doesnt have in skill he makes up for with his punching power, he is one of the hardet ever punches

Robinson threw in the towel due to heat, once in his career, and he was literally on the line of death.
Aside from that Ray Robinson NEVER quit in a fight. Fighting HOF opponents than any other fighter I can think of over the course of a 25 YEAR CAREER! He NEVER QUIT!
Thats one of the most ******ed things I have ever read on any boxing website anywhere. This is Roberto Duran we are talking about.

Exactly, and he isn't talking about a prime Roy Jones either, he is talking about present day Jones.

Robinson would easily beat old Jones, in my opinion.

Prime for prime it would be a different matter of course.

Prime for prime RJJ would NEVER stop Sugar. I dont care if they fought 100 times in a row, SRR fought the best of the best for so many years without ever being stopped, its ridiculous.

Since when has the present day Jones had great stamina?

There is no way in hell that he would make Robinson quit on his stool, that's just hilarious. In fact, I would be not at all surprised if Jones got too tired and Robinson stopped him.

The present day Jones gets hit, doesn't have good stamina and can't finish an opponent if hurt. That is a recipe for losing to Robinson, not winning by TKO.

He is 6' 2 260 pounds says an article and I dont even believe that.
Valuev is 7' and 325 pounds

And that guy shall be weighting 260 pounds at 6 2 ?
Steve Cunningham is 6 3' and make the 200 pounds limit with probably weighting in at fight night at 215.

I think you mean S.R. Robinson, not Duran.

                  Max's brother Buddy was 6'6, 260 lbs.

Max Baer was 6'2 and weighed around 210 lbs.

Cunningham usually doesn't weigh more than 195-200.

Ok I'm wrong, just scanned through the article, than we have Max Baer being 115 pounds lighter than Valuev and he has to punch upwards while he has no skill and still tkoing him, while better and heavier heavyweights failed at even knocking him down?
Jake Lamotta comes in around 160 and Abraham at 175 being the first person to knock Lamotta the **** out.
