Now your just talkin out your ass... Pacman actually dropped JMM and visibly wobbled him 2 more times...I saw JMM hurt with a left hook against Diaz that visibly shook him but he regained himself real quick... The rest were patty cake punches. I agree though that Diaz is a really good fighter on anyones level, just not Marquez'.Last edited by Alibata; 03-05-2009, 06:19 PM.Comment

JUAN DIAZ is guy with Mexican fighting style he only knows to fight one way.
He isnt smart as JMM.
JMM can fight inside,he can box you, counterpounch you.Comment

I agree. It takes a lot for a fighter to impress even when he loses. 25-years-old taking on a future HOFer is a good look on the resume.Comment

Juan is a true champ!!!!
I agree, he fought his heart out and showed some improvement, he applied smart pressure and if he had power, he probably would have won. Diaz is the type of boxer you can't help but admire, to be in school for law and boxing like that on the highest level says alot about you....Only the truly best (e.g Mayweather, Calzaghe, Marcianno, etc) retire unbeaten so Diaz shouldn't be discourage by his loss.I know he got knocked out the other night, but you have to admit he is one hell of a fighter. He damn near knocked Marquez out a few times in the fight and remained competitive and was even winning exchanges right up until the end. I thought his loss to Nate Campbell was just tough luck, this fight he definitely lost to the better fighter, but either way he's a hell of a fighter and deserves props. I don't know too many athletes let alone boxers who could be a full tiime student and be among one of the elite.
Juan Diaz is a very very good young fighter with a lot ahead of him and everyone should be happy this guy is in the sport right now. In my opinion he is one of the class acts and a true warrior.
Give it up for the Baby Bull.
The kid will be back and stronger than ever,he has a cushion just in case boxing doesn't work out for him but I have a feeling it will.Comment

I don't really think Pacman hurt JMM that much. All of the knockdowns he was up very quickly with the exception of the third knockdown. I think what I'm trying to say is that Diaz had a great chance to finish JMM. I agree Marquez is the better fighter, but Diaz really pushed Marquez.Comment

The truly best huh....Marciano Yes....May and Calz NO......Your not truly the best when, you retire when there are 4 other boxers that claim the same thing and challenge you and you just how do i say "Duck" out...That goes for May and especially Calzaghe...Scared of Bernard...I agree, he fought his heart out and showed some improvement, he applied smart pressure and if he had power, he probably would have won.
