he's respecting the commission's ruling......he'll be fighting in mexico, for a lot less $$$ than he'd originally be fighting for. disrespecting the ruling would be trying to go to every state and re-apply on a state by state basis. i don't see anything wrong with dude fighting in mexico.
Is Margarito an a$%hole for this quote? Poll!

No if he was respecting the commission ruling he wont fight for a year. Fight somewhere else is like saying i dont care about your ruling. And this is what cotto is saying what 98% of the boxing world is thinking.he's respecting the commission's ruling......he'll be fighting in mexico, for a lot less $$$ than he'd originally be fighting for. disrespecting the ruling would be trying to go to every state and re-apply on a state by state basis. i don't see anything wrong with dude fighting in mexico.Comment

To be honest, he's running the risk of losing his license even longer. The license is not guaranteed at the end of one year. He will have to reapply. Fighting in Mexico is definitely not going to help his chances of being immediately reinstated. I honestly think he will be permitted to fight after a year but it's a questionable decision for Margarito.Comment
