I saw it coming way back in 2003 when a Prime Vitali Klitscko failed to match up against a fat, aging Lennox Lewis. The new schools best could not defeat the old school at its worst.

Now we see the same thing happening in the lower weight classes 5 years later. Hopkins, Marquez and Mosley are veterans from a better time, when the talent pool was rich. Boxing will continue to decline, and the meek will inherit the sport.
Well Hopkins, Lewis, Marquez are all all time greats. Mosley to a lesser degree as well. Them being so dominant against the younger fighters isn't all that unheard of.

Guys like McCallum, Moore, Charles, Walcott, Hearns, Duran, Monzon, were all succesful into their mid to late 30's.

Because they're TRUE legends. Something we need more of from the new school.

Where is the young hot prospect?

Ali was 22 when he became king of the sport, Tyson was 20, Foreman was 24.

Who are the kings of today?

              32 year old Mayweather
              30 year old Paquiao
              37 year old Calzaghe
              35 year old Marquez
              44 year old Hopkins

The new generation is utter garbage and there is no one under the age of 30 whos willing to snatch the crown from the old farts. The day Paquiao retires Boxing will fall of the cliff. Its only a matter of time.

Boxing in the 90's has produced some amazing fighters, the best era was the 90's imo. You know what they say, form is temporary, class is forever.
