Hagler retired because he couldn’t get the fight that he wanted (leonard)…he wanted to redeem himself…Floyd retired because Oscar didn’t want to give him more money

Ali was much more hated than Floyd is, but nowadays everybody acts like they like the guy. Outside the ring, Ali was the biggest jerk there has ever been in boxing. He was a draft dodging coward and a hypocrite. I'm from Ali's hometown and I'll be the first to tell you he was a horrible person, and his life and mission was BS. But we judge guys by what they do inside the ring, so we love him as a boxer.

Floyd gets hated on for bling bling now, but people will love him in just 10 years. He'll be everyone's favorite because he retired undefeated. ****, look at Marciano who never had a legit opponent in front of him his whole career. PEOPLE LOVE MARCIANO, and he did absolutely nothing compared to Floyd. Every name opponent Marciano fought was an old man or beaten down by the time Rocky got to them.

Don't sweat the hate Floyd gets now. It's part of the internet age. If someone like Ali can be appreciated now, Floyd will be adored in less than a decade, bank on it.
