Morales had possibly the worst way of losing weight in this modern era. With all the available supplements, training techniques, nutritionists etc, he trained for a month 1/2 and at the last minute sat in the sauna for hours and sweated out every ounce of water weight he had.

As he said later in his career; he was able to do it for most of his early career, but when he finally hit that near thirty mark it all caught up to him and doing it that way quite literally ruined his career and made him a very unhealthy fighter. He only ever used a nutritionist once in his career, for the third Pac fight, but by that stage nothing was going to help him. He had already ruined himself and his body just couldn't take anything anymore and his legs were worse than most forty year old fighters today. Sad.

Great insight, Its amazing how some people think it isnt a big deal that a boxer is overweight and fat in between fights, Hatton would have had a better healthier career if he had been more careful with his weight and condition in between fights.

Let's use the arguement against Floyd for Pacman

Pacman has a longer reach, is taller and has wider chest. He is the bigger man. Since he is moving down for WW to fight a Jr WW

              Hatton is naturally bigger.

They will look closer to the same size come fight night though.
