LEGENDARY trainer Freddie Roach has launched a blistering attack on Floyd Mayweather Snr.
Roach will be in the opposite corner to his fellow American when Manny Pacquiao takes on Ricky Hatton on May 2.
And he insists Mayweather does not deserve any credit for Hatton's revival — or Floyd Jnr's achievements in the ring.
Roach blasted: "What has Floyd Snr achieved? His son's a natural-born fighter!
"His brother Roger trained him anyway, he never trained his son for a world title fight.
"He tells me he's the greatest but what has he done? He trained Oscar De La Hoya after Oscar had won four world titles!
"Ricky is going to be what he has always been against Manny.
"After he gets hit in the first round he will revert to type. Nothing Floyd has taught him will help."
After being released from prison in 1998, Floyd Snr trained his son for two years before the pair had a bitter bust-up.
They have reportedly only recently patched up their differences and Roach reckons the self-proclaimed 'greatest trainer of all time' is simply a legend in his own mind.
He added: "Give the fighters the credit — trainers are overrated.
"We guide our fighters in the right direction but it's up to them to implement the gameplan.
"It's the same with me, Manny makes me look good."
