For one thing, Pac throws many fewer punches than Diaz.

For another, I'm not convinced that Pac is more powerful @ 126 + than Marquez. If Pac KO's Hatton then I'll grant that Pac may have a slight edge in power over JMM. Imo, the results of the Hatton fight will show whether Pac's destruction of DLH was due more to Pacs power and skill than it was due to ODLH's decay, or vice versa. Otherwise, Marquez just brutally KO'd 2 solid 135lb champions who had never been KO'd and whom had been in w/some very heavy handed, HoF fighters.

I bet that Pacquiao whould of KO them too.

Pacs hands are the fastes in their sport right now, and JMM was down 4 times agaisnt Pacquiao at 130 and he was wobbled by Casamayor and Diaz had him very hurt a couple of times and was landing his left hook at will.

JMM look good because he KO his last 2 oppenents but it was 2 come from behind wins. Everybody wants to give JMM for a perfect performance against Diaz, but he was getting hi s ass handed to him till the KO. It was a very competitive fight that he was losing till the KO, unlike pacs total shuouts of Diaz and DLH.
And even if JMM is a bit more powerfull than Pac at this point(wich I dont think so), he still doesnt have the chin to hold up, to a pac unslaught. If Pac lands half the punches Diaz did, hell KTFO JMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Based it on their Previous fights & you'll see how much both guys improved. JMM is still the same Great counter puncher. But he sacrificed getting hit to make the fight exciting. His 2 fights against Casa & JuanD were both competitve but in the end JMM's skills & Power/Accuracy Prevails.

But Pac last 2 were a much different than what JMM DID. Its still exciting on both although Pac won both fights in the lopsided matter. That tells you the difference. At these higher weights Pac Maintain his speed & Power & he looks immaculate. I think he's more at Home at these weight coz I never saw him gets tired or slowdown anywhere-anytime in these 2 fights.

Now if the 3rd fight could be made it will be at 140+. We already saw Pac beyond 140 while JMM looks flatfooted & more hittable at 135. Did you see his reaction to Feather-fisted Diaz's Punch? He looks hurt there. Now compare that to What Pac's reactions to the few Flush punches he takes from David D & DLHs. It's like nothing to Pac & both bigger guys never did pushed Pac to back up.

I expect Pac to over-power JMm this time without taking too much punishment in return. I think Pac was Little-bit drained in the 2nd fight. This time Pac will leave no doubt. And that is if the fight will happen. I think it will. JMm needs just one more Cross-over fight against High-profile & English speaking fighter. How about JMM- Mosley??? JMM-Holt/Bradley???

Judging by how many times Marquez got nailed by Juan Diaz, I'd take Pacquiao to KO him for good. That's my answer if you're asking right now.
