I wonder if the fact that he was fighting Nate for the IBF the first time around was part of the reason Guzman didnt make weight. Something tells me he will not have a problem making weight for Romanov when challenging for the IBF this time around.

Thats true, but he should be able to hit Romanov with a few shots that he dont see coming leading to a stoppage win.Comment

This is completely legit and regardless how you feel about it, it's completely within the rules:
Quote from OnePunch
As crazy as it seems, the IBF are actually following the rules. Vacant titles are filled by a fight between the top 2 available contenders. Here are their rankings....
1 Ali Funeka (lost on 2-14, not eligible)
2 NOT RATED
3 Juan Diaz (unavailable)
4 Fernando Angulo (lost on 2-14, not eligible)
5 Julio Diaz (unavailable)
6 Anthony Peterson (injured)
7 Joan Guzman (accepted fight)
8 Zahir Raheem (rejected fight)
9 Yuri Romanov (accepted fight)
10 Yodsanan Nanthachai
11 Michael Katsidis
12 Bredis Prescott
13 Saddam Kietyongyuth
14 Amir Khan
15 Tyrone HarrisComment

Iv seen him fight a few times. He doesn't look a special fighter but what he does is really good and efficient. He won't be stopped thats for sure.Comment

I guess I still didnt get over the not making weight scandal with his fight with Nate. Or, maybe I just dont feel Romanov should be sharing the ring with Guzman for an IBF title.Comment

Undefeated Moses? Cuz that guy would get schooled by Guzman...I know you want Guzman to prove a point but there is no one for him to do it against, atleast...not nowComment
