      resume>>>>pac head to head>>>>pac multiple divisional champ>>>>pac

people are hating on pac and so desperately want marquez to succeed because pac is the mexicutioner, if you had half a brain you would realize pac is far ahead.
u ****** pinoys can dream all u want pac cant even handle jmm if he could they wouldnt be having a third fight. pinoys win ratio against mexicans is like 1 out of 30 so dream on boys your the ones that arent even in the same arena!

i like mexican fighters, a big fan of mijares and morales. jmm is a whining sore loser of a champ. and when he says he is robbed all his fans begin to believe that its true when clearly they had close fights. look at both their last two performances who looked like a p4p fighter? pac would have dominated diaz!! marquez on the other hand is going to wars. if you think marquez is better than pac than you are a ******o.

Fantastic news and I absolutely agree with the above sentiments. Hopefully after Hatton as Marquez will have needed a good rest from his war with Diaz to recover fully. Marquez will finally get his wish of a third fight and a big pay to end, or certainly get close to the end, of his great career.

It would be really very good though if they did it sooner rather than later and it would be even better if they did it at LW. I don't think it would need to be held at JWW, as that is a little too high for Marquez and Pac could still make it down to LW pretty easy I think.

Either way, it's great to hear that Pac wants to do it again. Considering hardly any of his rabid fans want him to do it, hearing it from the mouth of the man himself will no doubt switch their brains very quickly to clamoring for the third fight.

You're kidding right? Pac/Diaz would have been an absolute all out war! Juan Diaz is no David Diaz mate. He has great hand speed, amazing combination punching, good defense inside and can box very well.

Unless you fight like Locche or Mayweather, any fighter that goes in with Diaz is going to be in a war and that goes even more for Pac who is happy to trade and fight. You're seriously daft if you think he would blow him out like he did David Diaz or if you think it wouldn't be a huge war.

Man, that would have been a great fight!

i have been wanting this fight to shut these people up. we are not as desperate as these marquez fans because pac has tougher challenges to increase his legacy. on the other hand marquez and his followers just day dream about pac. pac has a chance to win his sixth and 7th belts at wlterweight, against tougher opposition. all marquez has is manny pacquiao.

If it does happen I think Pacquiao will insist on it being at 140 which would probably suit him better than Marquez, I would prefer to see it at lightweight too, I think it's a better fight there with a little bit more significance but they'll have great fights at whichever weight they fight at.

And I totally agree, I hope it happens soon, very soon. Maybe in the last couple of months of this year, it would be a great fight to close out 2009.

                  Yeah.

pac would dominate him with his footwork. pac looks faster at these higher weights, marquez has decreased in speed in my opinion. campbell beat diaz, and campbell is no where near a pacquiao.

Honestly, I actually wouldn't be surprised if it happened this way. It would be very, very sad to see a great old warrior go out like that, but it wouldn't surprise me. With the wars he's been in and his rather advanced age and also moving up in weight, while going up against a much younger, much more prime fighter in Pacquiao who handles the higher weight better, I could see it finally being a decisive victory for Pac.

Marquez has been getting hit more and more in all his fights, and his reflexes are slowing considerably. He takes longer to get going and is easily tagged in those early rounds. It's quite possible that Pac could stop him either through accumulation or just by a bunch of knock downs in which the ref decides to stop it.

I don't know, it's always hard to know with a guy that's been fighting for as long as he has and is at Marquez' age. It really can literally catch up with a fighter all at once overnight. Let's desperately hope not though, and let's hope that this happens and another great fight ensues.
