"I've always said Ricky wasn't a welterweight and I wasn't interested in going back up to that division unless it was [against] Floyd because he's not such a big guy," added Graham.

"I don't think Floyd's any bigger than Ricky, whereas a lot of the welterweights are."

Mayweather at 19 was fighting at 125 at amateurs

That is not a benefit to Hatton though and if Hatton was always "lean/ripped" between fights he would not put on so much weight after weighing in. Ricky would be better off staying in better shape instead of the yo yo dieting he does, but he liked fast food and drinking beer too much when he's not training. The water weight he gains the day of the fight only slows him down and gives him less stamina.

"The only fight that interests me with Ricky right now is Floyd Mayweather," said Billy Graham, Hatton's trainer. "Floyd Mayweather isn't retired as he says. He's a man. He'll come back and fight. When will it be, I have no idea. But I want that fight. The boxing world wants that fight. Ricky wants that fight. The only welterweight we would even consider is Mayweather. Now, it's up to Floyd.

"(Mayweather) is no bigger than Ricky, so we could fight him at 147 pounds and it would be a fair fight."

I say let Ricky be Ricky. The guy has made it this far doing it the way he does, I don't like the idea of changing it. Ricky is a fan favorite because he is down to earth and seems like an average person, unlike Floyd. Why should we want to change that about him. Let him do his thing and fight at 140, drinking beer and eating fish and chips along the way. After all, there's only one...

All you saying is Mayweather is bigger because he has wider shoulders, taller and reach, I guess that also means Pacman is the bigger man

This is all Hatton fans got. Mayweather looks bigger.

In that picture they seem the same height and size. Just Floyd has longer arms

                    Mayweather is 142 fight night
Your question asks if Mayweather fought Hatton at 140. Do you mean right now, or if they'd fought over 4 years ago, like the "evidence" you are attempting to provide?
