I'm not sure exactly, but I'd guess around 18-20. He was 22 I think when he won the WBU title and this was before then.

That is not a benefit to Hatton though and if Hatton was always "lean/ripped" between fights he would not put on so much weight after weighing in. Ricky would be better off staying in better shape instead of the yo yo dieting he does, but he liked fast food and drinking beer too much when he's not training. The water weight he gains the day of the fight only slows him down and gives him less stamina.

I say let Ricky be Ricky. The guy has made it this far doing it the way he does, I don't like the idea of changing it. Ricky is a fan favorite because he is down to earth and seems like an average person, unlike Floyd. Why should we want to change that about him.
