I'm not sure about the night of the fight but Bernard weighed in a pound less then Trinidad at the scales. It would be kinda hard to believe that he would rehydrate 33 pounds. He was always in great shape.

''It is a clash between two fighters with impeccable credentials and iron wills. Trinidad, the fighter known as Tito who is unbeaten in 40 fights, is the World Boxing Association champion who hopes to use this fight as a steppingstone toward a fight against Roy Jones next year. Hopkins (39-2-1) is a formidable obstacle, the International Boxing Federation and the World Boxing Council champion, and a fighter who has not lost since 1993.

Hopkins has waited years for the opportunity to prove he belongs with the best fighters of his generation. So while Trinidad is the favorite, many people in boxing like Hopkins's chances because he is the strongest and most physical fighter Trinidad has faced. The 6-foot-1-inch Trinidad weighed in at 158 1/2 pounds yesterday, while the 5-11 Hopkins weighed 157, yet Hopkins has the stronger upper body and hopes to use that to his advantage.''

I watched the fight on youtube(Tito fight). They did not show fight night weight on the youtube video. But that being said Hopkins against Taylor, Hopkins was only 168 I think.

Trinidad had problems with speed, as evidenced by the DLH fight. If DLH could do that well against Trinidad, I don't see why Mosley couldn't. Mosley UD.

Mosley gets tagged to much and when hit he stands and trade. Tito would've knocked Mosley out in 9.

suagr shane - if that guy had less pride imo hed be already a modern ATG.

titos a good fighter but shanes a smart counterpuncher and after being tagged a few times would go back to boxing his way to a UD.

He was also a nasty counter puncher, he would counter with full combos. His power was solid, but nothing amazing. With proper hand wraps, Mosley goes the distance. With illegal wraps Mosley may stand but he'd be ruined for the rest of his career just like so many other potentially great fighters Vargas and Reid to name 2 specifically.

He did brawl but against a bigger puncher I find it hard to believe he mixes it up like he normally does. DLH had strong 1 punch changing a fight power and that never hurt him, that is a lot to say. Hell Vargas even past prime had pop and he tooks his power very well.

Mosley has finished a fight concussed so it is difficult to say anyone would KO him. I think Mosley would win via UD. Trinidad was always one dimensional if someone could take his power he was easy to UD. He did box better in his youth but he doesn't have the footwork or speed to keep up with him.

                  Just my 2 pennies.

this would be one hell of a fight.

prime for prime - i think mosley takes it via decision.
