AND NO INTERIM CHAMPIONS.
My opinion is-MARKUS BEYER!!!
MARKUS BEYER is a disgrace to world boxing. He has made what i am sure is a record of 4 voluntary defences in a row and one of them was a rematch for a loss to an unranked middleweight, and in December he will make his 5th voluntary defence in a row. He has only fought out of Germany 3 times, and that was in Austria and England. He calls himself "boom boom" but the only boom boom you hear from him is his head bouncing off the canvas.
What's your opinion my friends?
A good measure of a fighter's "champ" status is the media's coverage and response to his activity. Beyer's latest fight went completely unnoticed by all North American boxing media. The day after his last bout, I was hoping to get the result, and also hoped that Byer got KO'd. I had to search the web for about an hour, but found nothing about that fight. I then posted a Thread on boxingscene asking if anybody knew. I got one response with the results, and then nobody offered to continue the Thread! The reason why the thread died right there is obvious, nobody really cares.
Bring on Green again and people might start to care about Beyer. Particularly people involved in Health Care.Comment

That's the sort of talent the Champ Beyer fights and loses to. Guys like Sanatvanadia, who's name has never appeared previously and never will appear agin in a serious boxing forum.Comment

You guys are dead on about Brewster and Beyer they both are bad. I don't know if Fernando Montiel has regained some gay title lately after(I dont have my ring mag in front of me) TOO SHARP but he was a very bad champion.
I was at a fight when he held the WBO title and Jose Carita Lopez knocked him down five or six times and only the last knockdown was called.
Barerra was the headliner so the Hispanics were out in full force and Lopez was Puerto Rican, I felt bad for the guy because the crowd could care less that this kid was getting ****ed.
Me and my wife (then girlfriend) were just a few rows from ringside and after the fourth knockdown was called a low blow(this kid kept getting point takin away from him for knockdowns) I was beside my self and I start screaming at Marc Ratner telling him that "they aren't low they are legal, you have to do something." Ratner looked at me and shook his head agreeing. In between rounds he was on the ring apron and was talking to the ref. The next round Montiel bitched out again and Ratner immediately stood up yelling "that is a godd knockdown, that is a good knockdown," Montiel was whinning like a little ***** because the ref started counting.
Off topic I know(I don't think Montiel is champ any more) but Fernando Montiel is a ***** champion, was a ***** champion, he showed what a ***** he was with Too Sharp but it was not the first time.Comment
