I honestly think JMM would outbox Chavez, the question is could he do it for 12 rounds without getting into any significant exchanges. The more boring the fight the better for JMM. Tough fight to pick, either JMM by decision or Chavez by late knockout.

Actually JMM have the skills to outbox the **** out of Chavez, but the bul**** machoism will get to him, and hell get his ass KTFO.

JMM would be a bit smaller than Julio and he wouldn't have enough pop to hurt Chavez. At lightweight, Chavez was a freight train. Chavez by stoppage late in the fight, JMM is too chiny to hang with JCC at any weight.

I accidentally picked JMM by KO. I meant to pick JCC by stoppage.

At 135, Marquez would win. Marquez would box him, get dropped once but would do enough to win a FAIRLY clear decision. Though in his prime, Chavez was a bit harder to hit when he cared to use defense.

              Marquez, clear but close decision.

I think people are forgetting how much of a tank JCC was at lightweight. JMM would probobly be able to box the first few rounds but i see JCC getting to him later on and stopping him around the 8th

Agreed. Rosario was a great boxer with killer power; Chavez walked right through him. That was perhaps the best example of how tremendous Julio was at Lightweight.

Chavez stops Marquez in the mid-late rounds. Way stronger, smarter, more skill, and more punching power than any other lightweight today. Marquez is good enough to win some rounds....ultimately I think Chavez would hurt him too many times and once Chavez smelled blood he'd take him out.
