Devon Alexander willing to oblige HBO

I just read where HBO isnt interested in a Judah-Campbell fight due to Judah but are open and optimistic about a possible Alexander-Campbell showdown. In an article I just read, it said Alexander the Great is ready and willing to accomodate Nate as HBO originally suggested. I wonder if Nate will want to challenge an undefeated contender rather then a world champion. HBO will probably make it real tempting for him nonetheless.

that would be a great matchup. Great opportunity for both guys. Nate wins, hes the #1 contender. Devon wins, he beats a great fighter on HBO, may be enough to get him vs the Bradley/Holt winner on HBO instead of Showtime.

HBO will have to make it extremely sweet for Nate to take that fight I would imagine considering it wouldnt be for a title. It will put him in the number one slot no doubt, but I just see Nate wanting to challenge for titles instead of fighting undefeated contenders at this point in his career.

Nate is not solely focused on titles at this point, as much as he is focused on meaningful fights. Having 3 titles at 135 did absolutely squat for him, because everyone of note maneuvered around fighting him, and fought someone else instead. (and no, they weren't "scared" lol) The problem with fighting Alexander is that it doesnt mean anything. His only win of note is a decision over a faded Corley, who ran up 6 losses in a row. If there's nothing else we can get, then we'll take it, but its certainly not our first choice.

Whatever the case, I know the offer better be sweet for Nate to be interested.

I wouldnt mind seeing Nate's right hand take Zab's head off. Some how I get the feeling Nate and a whole lot of other people wouldnt mind it either. For our sakes, hopefully showtime doesnt mind either and picks up the fight.
