I think the point is that the ref in the Mayweather fight did not let Hatton tie up as he normally does; the ref kept breaking them apart almost as soon as there was a clinch.

If they have a ref that lets Ricky do his thing, I can definitely see Pacquiao having some trouble. Sure he is fast and can make you miss like Mayweather, but Mayweather was afforded the opportunity to move freely because of the ref's style. Kosta Tsyzu had problems cause he could not get off effectively against Hatton due to his style, by fight's end, Tsyzu was beaten up and he quit.

And lets be honest, Hatton will be the hardest hitter that Pacquiao will have ever faced upuntil this point in his career (DLH never really hit him)

The only reason Hatton was able to rough up Kostya like that was because of the ref letting him get away with it. People are basing what Hatton's supposedly gonna do to Pac on that fight? His tactics were ******. I can't see any ref, especially in the US, allowing it.
