the thing is if pac loses to mosley arum still has cotto or if cotto loses to mosley arum still has pac...

the best thing is for cotto to take mosley's shine because he already beat mosley; there nothing for arum to fear

I think a Campbell fight for JMM does not makes sense, it might make sense for us boxing fans but Campbell is a tricky risk that does not sell, beating Campbell won't have anymore significance than what he just accomplished on Saturday.

He’s 35 and the clock is ticking plus I don’t think his body would keep up with way he’s been fighting, JMM should by now start looking for the big fights, he’s simply on another level.

I’d rather fight a young gun like the winner of Bradley vs Holt than risk a fight with a crafty veteran with no titles.

I totally disagree. I think the exact opposite. I think the Campbell fight makes the most sense because he was already going to fight him at LW and its a solid fight against a guy who isnt a real 140 pounder.

I think everyone in this thread is totally insane for saying that he should fight Bradley. I swear that you guys are so underrating him. That fight would be hell for JMM and he wouldnt make any money. Sure it gets you a title but guys talk way too much about titles. Once your on the P4P level then titles dont make the man. The man makes the titles. JMM can get a title when he fights Pac again or Hatton. You make it sound like Cambpell is the bigger risk when I think Bradley is 10x a bigger risk. I like Campbell but JMM can beat him and should beat him. Bradley is a monster with top notch boxing skill and is a true 140 pounder. You dont fight a guy like him unless you have too or atleast unless your a true 140 pounder. No way he should fight bradley, let alone in his very 1st fight. How do you know he can fight at that weight? Thats why Campbell makes the most sense, because he's not a true 140 pounder yet

pacquiao is retiring after this year remember?

plus his contract with arum is gonna be done soon. even if he continues fighting he has enough name recognition to get paid without top rank.

arum thinks cotto will beat pacquiao. not a surprise. it will propel his fighter who is still young to p4p status and stardom.

mosley is gbp. whenever manny fights a gbp fighter arum has to share with gbp on pac's end. gbp makes more money than top rank everytime manny fights a gbp fighter.

barrera , marquez , oscar , hatton. 4 out of manny's last 5 fights were gbp fighters and co-promoted with top rank.

          bobfather no like.

I just don't think that beating Campbell would do any great, and by no means I underrated Bradley, IMO this kid has the right stuff to be the top dog of the division, in all as of right now where JMM is standing, he should take no risk and wait for the outcome of Pac vs Hatton.

actually it will because campbell was the unified champ at 135 before he lost them on the scales

same for campbell, both are in the same boat

I’d rather fight a young gun like the winner of Bradley vs Holt than risk a fight with a crafty veteran with no titles.
yeah, but bradley and holt are real 140 lbers, while nate campbell is moving up... something to consider.

true... pac is retiring and arum should sacrifice pac to cotto... but you forget that cotto could ditch arum soon anyways.... over the margarito statements.

its possible arum could not end up with cotto in the end and sacrifice pac for nothing

nah, jmm need to make moves without pac... imagine if jmm decided to wait at 135 for pac... he'd never had fought casamayor or diaz.
