AGREE/DISAGREE. If Tyson got 20 mil at his peak, Floyd should to and he's more accomplished.
But Tyson was knockin the **** out of people, which at the end of the day is what people want to see (whether they admit it or not). The majority of people who want to see Floyd fight want to see him lose, but that in itself isn't worth paying someone $20 Mill guaranteed.
Agree... I mean $20mil is only $8mil more than what Pac is getting for the Hatton fight, and any fight with Floyd returning will generate ALOT of money.. so just give it him. I reckon whoever he chooses to fight against will take a much less guarantee, just to get the chance to fight Floyd - especially JMM.
He doesn't deserve 20 Mill. Everyone should just boycott fighting him, then when he comes back and tries to fight people he will have to settle for smaller amounts.
floyd will come back when he wants to, he deserves a break. i think he said he wanted a long break from boxing (1-2) years, i think he'll come back sooner rather than later. boxers have cravings to fight and if you're the best in the world can you imagine the cravings you must have to use your talent?

I agree and dissagree. I want to see him fight but only against a good oponent like Cotto, Mosely, maybe even the smaller Pac but not Hatton. He's not worth 20mil. People who never watched boxing would order Tyson PPV. All Mayweather does for people who never watch boxing is remind them why they never watch boxing. Again, I said "people who never watch boxing".
The fact is Tyson was worth 20m, Floyd isn't. Tyson was exciting, Floyd isn't.[/Q
you're basing this on two fights, baldomir and de la hoya, outside of that his fights were exciting. he's the second highest grossing fighter in the history of the sport. if fighters are going to call him out pay the man.
