Why are some of the elite welters targetting Hatton?

Don't they realise Hatton is not a Welterweight and will just get owned by all of them. This means they will be getting no credit for the win and render fighting Hatton completely pointless. I've heard talks of Cotto and Mosley both contemplating a Hatton fight in the future. Mosley against Hatton would be ridiculous. Mosley would look at least two weight-classes bigger. That fight goes as long as Mosley wants it too. It's a horrible mis-match. Hatton doesn't have the skills to cope with being a smaller man.
