Floyd "The ball wasn't in my court against Oscar Unlike Pacquiao"
Collapse

Come on Floyd. Pac came up from 1 fight at 135 and he got only 32% in a match up at 147 where some cynical folks expected he'd end up in a coma. De la Hoya was an underdog to you. DLH-Pac wasn't 50-50. It was supposed to be a Golden Boy circus extravaganza but Pac beat all the odds and reduced Oscar into a gleaming pile of excuses.
You've been keeping in shape. Fight either Pac, Mosley, Cotto or whatever unworthy foe you're being accused of ducking and shut these muthaf**kers up... and then retire for good. What's a couple of more fights... or maybe even just one superfight? Either that or stop crying.Comment

1) floyd maybe didnt want to throw as much because he might injure his hands
Floyd never throws alot of punches. He pot shots. He had thrown more punch against oscar than he did with baldo.
2) pac didnt need a big ring though, he's a small guy
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
Pac used the ring and boxed against DelaHoya.
And I don't see why PBF should complain about the ring size, it looked pretty big to me. He had no problem with that ring. Pac would've done the same thing he did Oscar with that ring.
Calderon is a midget but he needs a big ring.
3)yeah but dlh didnt move any weight at all
Again, I don't understand what you're trying to say.
Moving up 2 weight classes after 1 fight at 135 with Oscar going down to147 evens up if not ...more risky than PBf going up 1 weight class to 154.
Anyway, PBF shoouldn't be saying the ball wasn't in his court.
He was the favorite.
Pac was the HUUUGE underdog. Nobody except a few thought he had a chance against OScar........peace

I have said this before and I will say it again....
I dont think that Floyd Mayweather will ever fight again....
It is what it is....Comment

He's correct about the circumstances surrounding the two respective De La Hoya fights. Given Pacquiao's required leap up in weight, DLH had to make more concessions than he is normally accustomed to and paid for it.
In regards to coming out of retirement, whichever directions Mayweather chooses to go, he isn't the type to give even the slightest inkling of his intentions in a brief interview like this.Comment

alot of people make a big deal about pac jumping up 2 weight classes from 135 but he barely fought his first fight at 135 1 fight before he fought DLH and all of a sudden now hes never going down to 135 again? not to mention he went in at 145 on fight night for marquez, went in at 147 for DLH.
the way i see it is both may and pac jumped up only 1 class. pac got the advantage tho in bringing DLH down i weight class. DLH wasnt at a disadvantage in either fights in his mind...$$$Comment
