floyd will come back if the money is right and if the opponent is worth it but having dsaid that i wouldn't be surprised if he decided to stay retired.

i think the fact that every fighter from 140 - 154 ends up calling him out after a good performance is one of the reasons why we think he may be coming back but he wont until he feels as though its time.

im a fan of floyd, because im a fan of master boxers putting on a clinic but it was a shae that we never saw him take on fighters like mosley or cotto.

Floyd will come back, but it's too soon right now. People should concentrate on the talent we have now and the exciting matches that can be made without comparing it to what Floyd would do. The only reason they want him to come back is so he can lose anyways, nobody wants him to win and thinks he is a boring fighter.

I'm not a Floyd fan, infact i'm neutral on the Floyd issue, i respect him as a fighter and he has great skills but he has ducked a lot of fighters who had a better chance of beating him than the once he actually faced.

Floyd and Mosley both turned eachother down. Both are at fault there.

As for the Cotto/Floyd situation. When did Floyd ever call him out? Not at 140. I have quotes from Floyd claiming that he had no interest in fighting Cotto then because he felt Cotto was still "too green". Cotto on the other hand said "if they make the fight, i would love to fight him"

Cotto can fight Gatti, but why would Top Rank make a fight in which its man gets a substantially smaller percentage of the pie, when it could make Mayweather-Cotto instead?

Gatti-Mayweather is the immediate plan. But Top Rank is taking a close look at this, and seeing this backup solution: Mayweather-Cotto in a pay-per-view clash this summer, instead of Gatti-Mayweather. Then, if Cotto wins, make a pay-per-view mega fight against De La Hoya in late 2005.

“Cotto needs a couple more tune-ups. Right now he’s a little too green,” Mayweather said.

"We’re rivals,” Cotto said. “Mayweather is a star of the sport and we’re in the same company. Mayweather was a great champion at 130 and 135. We don’t know about 140. When the company says the time is right to make the fight, I’ll fight him. I think it's a good fight. I know Mayweather's a great fighter. But I know I can beat him
