Khan being rushed out now to save money?

It seems like, after Khan's disasterous 1st rd KO, his promoters don't want to invest anymore money into him if it's all going to go to waste with another 1st round KO loss in the future. Now only 1 fight inbetween his brutal loss, he's going right after a legend. Me thinks they want to either make something big out of him on the spot, or push Khan aside for good if he's not worth coin in the future.
