What would your reaction be if Mayweather came out of retirement and fought Marquez?

It would be good for boxing.. Floyd is the only American Mainstream Boxoffice star left since Oscar is gone...
So any quality fight he is in, is good for the sport.

I understand we fans of certain fighters lobbying for their favorite fighters to fight Floyd like this is College Football and Floyd is the BCS Championship Game and that is fine, but the reality is this... Boxing needs Megafights at least once a year...just like The NFL needs the superbowl...and Nascar the Indy 500....

It would be a big event, and you bring up some good points in your post. I just think that there are better fighters for him to face. For instance, a fight with him and Pacquiao, assuming he beats Hatton, would be much bigger than a fight with Marquez. I wouldn't have too much of a problem with him fighting Marquez though. He has been out of the ring for a while, and Marquez has looked stellar as of late.

I think Floyd could possibly fight below 147, I do not know if he can get down to 140 but 143-144 maybe. I think Floyd is more capable, or possibly willing to do that then Cotto or Mosley.

The closer the fight is to 140 the more I like it, at 147 it is not as good a fight.

I would have to hope he would fight atleast 1 more fight after, it would be somewhat disapointing if this would be his last fight (unless he lost lol).
