I'm not gonna lie, I'd be pretty upset. Obviously Marquez is a great fighter, but he's smaller, and I think there'd be better fighters for Mayweather to face. With that said, I doubt they'll fight.

Lets not bull**** ourselves. We all wan't mayweather to come back. I wouldn't be upset at all. I want to see him back and Marquez is a lot smaller but he isn't a pushover.Comment

Most would pay just to see Floyd lose. To his credit, he wouldn't be taking on no slouch in Marquez, plus he'd be fighting for Marquez' belts.
It's all wishful thinking at this point.
At least Juanma has the cojones to call him out on live TV.Comment

id be super mad cause hes ducking the best at 147 he duckd marg, cotto, doesnt want none of mosley either. If he decides to fight either of them or pacman after marquez i guess it would be ok but if not ill be very upsetComment

Aslong as he fights again after it, it would be no big deal. I think it could be a good fight, I see why JMM would want it ($$$$$ and if he can pull off an upset there is basically no bigger thing he can do in boxing).
If they fight at 140 or a catch weight below 147, it could be interesting, Floyd has a lot of ring rust. It is not out of the question that JMM can take advantage.Comment
