Kellerman comes across to me as someone who is insecure and always trying to prove himself.
What do you think of replacing Max Kellerman on HBO with John Skully?

Seriously guys, I'm flattered. But I'm pretty content commentating with Joe Tessitore on fights that happened at least a decade ago on ESPN Classic. By the way, ESPN 2 will be re-airing Joe and I calling the first Holyfield-Bowe fight this Sat.Comment

He seems very eager to impress, and he's trying too hard. Though I can't blame the guy, he's basically "trying out" for the best job in the world, for the network that covers the best fights in the world. I'd be eager to impress myself.
He also speaks really loud, and really fast. I think he may be on ******* or some other type of speed.Comment

He has what I've heard called "******* eyes"...He seems very eager to impress, and he's trying too hard. Though I can't blame the guy, he's basically "trying out" for the best job in the world, for the network that covers the best fights in the world. I'd be eager to impress myself.

When people are doing a lot of *******, there's a different expression in their eyes.Comment

I wonder who is doing the commentary for Vitali vs. Gomez on March 21st?
I heard Joe Tessitore saying on the radio program "On the Ropes" he won't be calling that one.Comment

I was going to mention that as well. The bugged out, alien look, is a symptom of ******* use. I once worked with a guy who was on the ****, and his eyes were as bad as Max's.
If he really is on it, I wonder if he'll ever get a nose bleed on live tv?
