Ice, do you have any idea what brand of jockstrap a prime Leonard wore to the ring?

SRL did not wear a jockstrap wiseguy. Sugar Ray and I have actually had several detailed discussions about the merits of not using a jockstrap. If you had ever been in the ring, like Ray and I, you would know that a protective cup worn over a pair of boxer shorts is less constricting than wearing a jockstrap and a protective cup.
