Compare a Boxer to a Sports Franchise!.. Ex: Pacquiao=Lakers.

Tua did it first but I think there are a couple more. Don't limit yourself to basketball if you don't want to. Specify the era of referenced franchise if necessary!

Manny Pacquiao = Lakers = Awesome talent.
Zab Judah = Knicks = Tons of media attention but a complete debacle.
    Charlie Zelenoff = Cavaliers = The Future/Champion.
Oscar De La Hoya = Yankees = #1 Franchise but as of late.. limited success.
Juan Diaz = Mets = Folds when the going gets rough.

    Add some more!

Neither the kings or vargas are happy about this comparison.

Pacquiao and Lakers shouldn't even be in the same sentence.

Pacquiao wins his fights WHEN IT COUNTS.

Meanwhile, the Lakers cannot win a big championship game even if their lives depended on it.

I think the Lakers should be compared to Andrew Golota, a decent fighter (like the Lakers winning reg. season games), but always fall short in the biggest stage of his career (Lakers losing NBA finals).
