Diaz vs Guzman or Valero = another possible classic!

All you have to do is give him a cut and he stops fighting. Happened to him twice.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think Diaz will walk away from the sport when he sees it's not going to be beneficial to him anymore. I mean, he's going to school for Law and chances are he'll be going on to get his Masters and PHD. Fortunately for him, he's got his backup plan already in the works. I commend the dude.

in a way yes and no.

yes because both were young and got thrown to dogs

no because diaz is much smarter and not as damaged as vargas (you can blame that on tito)

Vargas only hit the wall when he ran into Trinidad and his ***** ass loaded left glove. Vargas had kneck injuries after that skinny ass pea headed, monkey ass primate, AND his father doctored his gloves. Vargas got robbed of a career due to that ****in monkey.

People act like Vargas shut down for no reason, when it was that kneck injury that started off the domino effect of his career.

As for Juan Diaz, he might have hit his limits, but it wasn't due to anyone other then himself. The pace he fights at might be catchin up to him, but he has a good 2 or 3 more fights in him.

No. I think Diaz will continue to be a good fighter and he'll win titles once again. He just lacks the power to make himself great with the style that he fights.

You guys get so overboard when fighters lose. Back int he day guys used to go through beatings and come back routinely. He'll be fine.

Nah I don't think so. He took on Katsidis who is one of the best in the division and beat him worse than Casamayor did. The Campbell fight was close, but JMM is a special boxer and there is no shame in losing to the best. If JMM moves up Diaz will be the best in the division......well a fight between him and Funeka is needed to determine that, and maybe Casamayor, since Casa also gave JMM a tough fight before being put away.
