Here's where I see the difference in Floyd fighting Pac and fighting Marquez.

Marquez brings out "the Fight" in Pacquiao, that's why their fights are always eye candy and Pacquiao chooses to fight that style. But from what I've seen in Pacquiao as of late is he's become a lot more patient, has learned to select his shots and get out of the way. Marquez isn't by far a one-dimensional fighter, but his best bet is always to take it to the offensive and overwhelm his opponent with punches. In a straight up boxing match, I don't see Marquez doing any harm to Floyd (who in this fight would be the bigger guy).

Pacquiao is a bit different scenario in the sense that he's a southpaw, throws his punches from awkward angles at times, can fight with high intensity for 12 rounds, and can match Floyd with hand speed.

IMO its a styles makes fights situation. Floyd beats Marquez, but has a lot tougher time against Pac win or lose.
