does that mean the WBO still might be added to Khan-Barerra?

JMM is 35 and the clock is ticking and he probably shouldn't waste his time with some of the lesser known, unproven guys in the division. Before he gets another shot at Pac or another big name he's going to have to settle for someone else as his entry fight into the division. Right now I think Campbell would be a good choice since he's also moving up in weight and was the lightweight champ so this fight would have some significance not to mention a good fight on paper.

I don't know if he can beat all of them, Ricky Hatton is potentially a nightmare for Marquez based on how he barely was able to handle Diaz' pressure and Ricky is much stronger a hits alot harder. Although Diaz has much better defense and Hatton's chin would break with Marquez's punches. Bradley is a very good fighter as well. These guys are all physically bigger than Marquez, remember that.

          tbh...... none of them.

i think the only way jmm wins a belt at 140 is whatever one pacquiao holds. as always he'd have a 50/50 chance against pacman.

jmm is a natural featherweight. he doesn't put on weight as well as manny does.

140 guys are too big for him. even hatton would be too big for him and hatton is not really a big 140 guy like the others.

He'd have a shot to beat most of them. I think Hatton and Bradley are too big and too good. He'd beat Malignaggi. Campbell and Urango would both have big time strength advantages, but Campbell is older and Urango is limited skill-wise.

I want to see him fight Campbell.

LOL! J/K but i wouldn't want to see the fight.. malignani got out punched out boxed and out classed against hatton.. that fight is still fresh on peoples minds.. Marquez would get no credit for winning that fight.. well maybe if he kO's his ass.. but then again Paulie's corner would throw the flag b4 that would happen..

I really don't see who would be a good opponent for him, maybe if Pac ducks him again..Marquez could fight the Bradley-Holt winner.. now that would be saying something (especially if it's Bradley)
Zab is at 140 now, why not him while he waits for Pac.

Juan Urango would put JMM on his ass! JMM doesent fill in well with the higher weights above 135. He did weigh in at 141 on fight night with pac so I think he could do good against some of those fighters. Maybe if he weighed in at 140 pre weigh in and only added 3-4 lbs, he would be fine. JMM is a hard worker and pushes him self.

I think he should fight someone like Kotelnik who has a belt but is the weakest belt holder of the division, Urango isn't exactly a big threat but he is a strong jr.welter, he shouldn't be the first opponent.
Kotelnik is a very solid fighter. Hes pretty big too I think they lie about his height. He reminds me alot of Felix Sturm. But yea out of all the title holders in that weight class hed be the best choice.

I think you meant to insert "kick" in between "would" and "Hatton's" right? I don't know man. I think JMM would have some real trouble with Hatton. I can see Hatton imposing his size advantage much like Diaz did. Intriguing fight but I think it's a really tough fight for JMM. JMM is slowing down too and should only fight 2 more times tops IMO. Soon he will start losing to fighters that he is/was better than.
