    Fair enough.

One thing the JMM victory did change imo (P4P wise) is that before JMM beat Diaz Pac could have lost to Hatton and still be P4P 1 (Despite what Ricky says!) He was that far ahead of everyone else. Now after the weekend Pac has to beat Hatton to keep his place, which is easier said than done. I still havent decided who I think will win and I've been thinking about it everyday since the Oscar fight.
Whoever wins, it should be a cracker of a fight!

      4. pac still has got the best resume of fighters.

      5. pac is fighting 2-3 divisions above his natural weight.

      6. pac is taking on real challenges. e.g hatton, cotto, mosely

this is for all you folks thinking that he is an undeserving p4p 1. i repeat he cant be overtaken untill he is beaten decisively, or when he retires. no current fighter comes close.
Imma give you this...main reason why is because your reason #2...he did beat Marquez once...the first fight was a draw that in many people's eyes should have been a win for Marquez...so I say this...Pac is the top dog for now...Marquez should have taken his opportunity when they fought the second time but didn't...however there will be a large cloud over your "Top dog" until he faces Marquez again for a final time...

u can make the case for both,

Casamayor is over the top, and diaz is good not great.

Diaz is good not great and Oscar is over the top.

Both fights Pac and Marquez had were close enough to go either way.

Both are exciting so we win!

yep top dog till marquez can beat pac. for now its a lot of hype because the fight is still fresh in the mind. good win for marquez but people are getting carried away. beating diaz does not make you level or above pac. beating him does or a an elite fighter like cotto,mosely,floyd....then it could be considered.

I dont get how jmm beating diaz (who lost to campbell) makes him p4p #1... by that reasoning, nate should be p4p #1.

                    no its not lmao

you guys put Margarito on the pound for pound list just for beating Miguel Cotto, and look how that turned out. JMM beat Casamayor, and baby fat. I taught, their hype was over when Clottey destoryed Deigo Corrales(RIP) and Hatton KO'd Castillo. Even if he beats Pacman, he wouldnt be pound for ound #1!!
