    Is Winky a HOF?

Hey i seen the other gentlemen's pound for pound rankings and Hopkins was listed as having a win over HOFer Winky. I am not sure I agree. While I think he is a great fighter and a man that was avoided. Does his resume qualify him for HOF?

Trinidad, Quartey, and Mosley are his only notable wins. Outside of that he has some solid fighter and some questionable decisions(Vargas loss and Taylor Draw). And a flat out Hopkins loss. A loss to Simon which I know nothing about. But Simon has no losses to this day.

Yeah he did hold a belt for 11 fights and he has been a total of 14 title fights so not bad but his resume isn't very impressive.

    Just a question.

I thot he lost fair enough against Vargas barely but still lost but he beat Mosley fair enough and beat Tito lopsidely enough plus he was also avoided by Oscar and others, I think his skills make him HOF worthy, beating Williams can help his case more

i think he is Hall of Fame worthy. He was a force for a very long time and dont forget, he Beat Mosley Twice and should have beat Taylor. a hell of a defensive fighter, one of the best of this decade. the most avoided man of the early part of this decade.

I wasn't really questioning his skills I think that they are HOF worthy, he definitely has the style and talent to give any fighter a headache, but does he qualify for HOF with his resume?

A 2 good title reigns and 1 where he became the Undisputed and lineal 154 pound champ, 2 wins (one lopsided) against future Hall of Famer Mosley, a dominant shutout of another future Hall of Famer Trinidad, and the first to clearly (and easily) beat perrenial contender Quartey; I say he should go in no question. Despite being avoided by top fighters, he showed sustained periods of greatness, and Barry McGuigan is in the Hall so pretty much anyone with 1 great win and a couple title defenses should.

I'd give him the nod. He perhaps had the potential to be an ATG, he has the best "cover up" defense standing right in front of the opponent that I've ever seen.
