My scorecard for Pacquiao Marquez 2

So after all this hype JMM has just got about beating Juan Diaz it seemed like he was eligible to be very close to #1 p4p or #1 p4p on my list.

So I went back and I watched Pacquiao vs. Marquez 2

And despite everyone telling me that Marquez won the fight, and the fact that most magazines and boxing analysts had marquez winning the fight. I saw Pacquiao winning the fight 115 - 112

I just want to know what objections you guys have for my scorecard.

    R1 - Pacquiao

R2 - Marquez...Punch landed at the end of the round

R3 - Pacquiao easy to score due to the KD

R4 - Pacquiao...Marquez seemed to be a little dazed in this round

    R5 - Marquez...landed better shots

R6 - Marquez...easy round to score...no doubt about who won this round.

R7 - Pacquiao...was more active and made it HIS round and HIS type of fight

    R8 - Marquez...Made a cut on Pacquiao

    R9 - Pacquiao...Made a cut NEW cut on Marquez

    R10 - Pacquiao, Almost KD'd Marquez

    R11 - Pacquiao Landed more

    R12 - Marquez...Clearly won the round.

    Any objections to my scorecard?

I order for Marquez to win on my scorecard you'd have to give 2 of the rounds I gave to Manny to Marquez.

I want to know what you think about my scoring

While I fully appreciate your opinion, I just had it for Marquez. Just my opinion.

I gave Marquez the 1st and 11th round of that fight. How in the world do you give Pacquiao the first round????? Pacquiao did not land hard or big in that little flurry towards the end of the round. Watch that little flurry again, Pacquiao did not snap Marquez's head back,he barley hit his forehead and threw pitty pat punches. Marquez landed the only meaningful punch in that round. The 11th was clear for Marquez just like the 12th.

I didn't score it like this, but you can easily give JMM a 10-8 round for the round he cut Pac. Pac was so bothered by that cut he didn't do anything. I think the punches landed were like 35 to 7.

I had JMM winning the first time I saw it on a stream then Pac by a point the second time. Either way it's a razor thin fight, and you cant complain.

                  Well in this video...

Pacquiao starts the action with a good right hand at 3:06. The punch landed flush.

Pacquiao lands a good right hook at 4:23

Marquez lands the best punch of the round at 4:25

Pacquiao lands a hard left hand a 4:59

Pacquiao lands a good right hand while moving back at 5:00 (But it could have been weak)

Marquez lands a body shot at 5:03 ...no only one the other was blocked if you watch closely...I don't think it was as good as the good left and right landed by Pac earlier. The punch only looked strong because Pac was moving back when Marquez threw his 2 shots.

Pacquiao won the round in my eyes. Pac landed more and arguably harder punches except that one punch landed by Marquez at 4:25

During the actual fight, i had Pac 115-112.

As far as the 11th round, i gave that to Pac. I was getting pissed at Lampley cuz he keep saying about JMM's right punch in the fight. He did land some but most were hitting the air or Pac's gloves. Pac as usual was throwing his lefts and landing and even a few rights. Pac was also blocking JMM's punches. The 12th round, i gave that to JMM.

But its our opinions. Pac still beat JMM by a split decision. Which the Ring mag predicted back in 2006 in their World Boxing mag(no longer produced).

As far as Lampley, his over hyping some of the actions in the fights. I am not just talking about the Pac-JMM2 fight, but other fights also.
