Burglars forcibly entered a placement agency office owned by Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao in Malate district, Manila and took a diamond necklace worth US$3,800.
Rowena Mariano, employee of Pacquiao's M&M Placement International Inc., said she discovered the burglary when she reported for work on Saturday morning.
Pacquiao co-owns the placement agency with his lawyer, Geng Gacal.
Mariano said they usually leave the office's lights on, but when she arrived the lights were already off. She said their office was also in shambles.
She said the burglars could have entered the office through its windows. She said the windows glasses were shattered and its grills were forced open.
Police said the burglars took a computer set, an electric router and the diamond necklace owned by another employee, Marsha Sadicon.
Police have yet to identify the burglars.
