I'm pretty much an amateur at gif making but I do can do some very basic stuff. I use virtualdub to chop up the video and ulead gif animator 5 to actually create and edit the gif.

How does the speed look? It seems to be about right with firefox but I've noticed in the past that IE seemed to look slower.
