Yep. Marquez only called out Floyd to try and lure Pacquiao into a third fight. Most posters don't realise that though.

Mayweather would never be interested anyway. Marquez doesn't bring enough mainstream appeal to offset to risk he carries.

Leonard CAME OUT OF retirement to fight Hagler

im saying lets see if Mayweather Comes out of retirement to fight MOSLEY, COTTO, PAC, ETC.

im not talking about how much weight they moved up in there careers.

Cotto is damaged goods and its a lose/lose situation for Floyd. If floyd wins people will say "oh Cotto hasnt been the same since cheato cinderblocked him." Also Cottos HBO ratings for his last fight were piss poor. Medium risk with very little reward.

Mosley is 5 years older and doesnt have many fans or haters. Im sure itll do like 700,000 ppv, but then Floyd will be accused of ducking Cotto & Paquiao . "Hes picking on the elderly to avoid real fights" yadda yadda yadda


The only WW bout that makes sense for PBF is to face the winner of Hatton/Paquiao. If hatton/paquiao ends in a KO/TKO we'll have a fight of the decade scenario for p4p supremacy. Thats the only WW that matters at this point.

floyd jr wouldnt do it man... for all his technical brillance jmm doesnt bring enuf moolah... the diaz fight was set in houston and was offered on regular tv bcoz the powers that be believed that the combatants does not bring enuf fans to vegas or generate good PPV numbers... mayweather simply fights for the money more than anything else nowadays... unlike when he was @ 130...
