Do you think they should release the scorecards after championship fights??

I mean we have been having all of this talk about robberies as of late....

This fighter loses what should be a UD but somehow loses by a few rounds or more....

We the fans say that there is a lot of corruption in boxing with the refs and judges....

Do you think that releasing the scorecards to the media and public would bring a sense of accountability on the actual judge??

And do you think that releasing the cards would some what make it harder to manipulate the judges since we will be able to see what and how they score??

I don't think it would make a damn bit of difference, to be honest.

There have been a lot of really ****ty decisions over the years, but I don't see how releasing the scorecards could do anything to help negate the way a judge scores a fight.

Jerry Roth is a perfect example of this, after the scorecards were released in the DLH/Trinidad fight and we all saw that he gave Tito 3 of the first 4 rounds (impossible to do, unless you love punching bags). And he went on to fuck up many more fight scores in his "stellar" career, some big, some not so big.

Dalby Shirrley (spelling), Chick from Lewis-Holyfield 1 Eugenia Williams are two of the worst ever Shirrley got to do tons of big fights also. Tom Kaczmarek I also tend to disagree with a lot.

That is how I know I have watched way to much boxing, when I know the judges and if I tend to agree with them or if I do not.

It always sucks when 2 or 3 judges I dislike end up being the deciding voice on the fight.

Yeah, Duane Ford is another one that has a habit of screwing it up on the cards.

Best quote about Duane Ford by a boxer ever...........

If I'm in a situation where, you know, Duane Ford is one of the judges. Then I know I gotta pick up the pace.

Yeah and the one ***** I hate is Julie Lederman....

But I think if they would release them that peole and the media would be able to scrutinize and cause enough of an uproar to at least make these judges think twice before deliberately going against the grain... and I do thnk some do it deliberately whether its under table money or just pure spite.. who knows

I don't like open scoring after every round, but if it was done only after Round 6 would be cool

Judges are never held responsible for their actions anyway. At the very worst, HBO or ESPN calls them up and asks them to justify it if their fighter lost. But they haven't done that in years.

I need to see more judges suspended but it will never happen as long as this sport is subjective. And that's the way it is.

Im not talking about open scoring... I am talking about the day after the fight the judges scorecards be released to media outlets and the public..... I HATE open scoring...
