No doubt that JMM is damn good, he could probably destroy Oscar just as badly as Manny did. Also, no doubt their two fights were razor thin close. Marquez seems to have gotten slightly better too, with the rise to lightweight. But Pacquiao is scary good now as well and gets better with every training camp. I don't know if JMM would have a good chance of beating Pac at 140 or 147 as he did at 126 and 130.Your opinion.
Do you think JMM have a good chance of beating Pacquiao @ 140 or 147?

I say no. Especially at 147. I cant imagine JMM weighing in somewhere at 141-147, then rehydrating. Unless he weighs in at 142 and rehydrates a few pounds or none at all. Even that would be pushing it. He looks like he barely cuts it at light weight, and thats the division he needs to stay at. He doesent seem as fast and mobile with his punches like he used to at 130 and 126. But he did knock out his 2 light weight opponents. I think he would loose to pac at 140, yet alone 147, he might even go down again, but one thing you can count on is that he will always finish on his feet. Pac by decision. I really hope if a trilogy ever comes off, it will be at 135, pac can make that easy.Last edited by Zarco; 03-01-2009, 04:39 PM. -
I also think JMM might be pushing his luck if he goes beyond 135.
At 140+, I think Pac gets a decision, like Zarco said.

There will be a lot of excuses in JMM capm if he move higher than 135 and get anhilated.. Even at 135 he has a slim chance...Comment

Pacquiao beat him twice. I don't mind seeing Pacquiao beating him again.
Not to mention before the KO he was losinga gainst Diaz and a draw against Casa.
A rematch against John is good for him so that he could avenge his lossComment
