Juan Diaz thoughts after the K.O

Do yall think he will now be forgotten? I was shocked TBH in seeing Diaz give JMM a good fight, I expected a one-sided beatdown. I still have respect for Diaz...he fought like a warrior till the end.

    Your thoughts?

Fought bravely and definitely came to win. He is a very good fighter and I thought that he would win with his work rate and being naturally bigger. However, he didn't do anything wrong. Its just that JMM was more experienced and was able to make adjustments quicker and better than Juan Diaz.

Juan Diaz is still a top elite LW and he showed that he can compete with anyone at that weight.

I'm with you I thought JMM was going to slaughter Diaz and Diaz really impressed me. He is a very good fighter but like Left2Body said, JMM was just able to make the adjustments needed to win the fight. In this case experience overcame youth. Diaz will continue to succeed in boxing because not only is he an exciting fight he is also very good, I'd pick him over anyone else at lightweight.

I think Diaz just gained a lot of fans. Plus look at it this way - the two guys that beat him, JMM and Campbell, will be fighting at 140. So if Diaz sticks around at 135, he can still be a top dog.

He will rule the Lightweight division. JMM will go up to 140 soon.

he can be no. 1 in the division, i was impressed by him and impressed by his left hook, in his fight with katsidis he showed that his jab has also come on, everytime i see him fight he brings something else, something new to the gight game if he continue to improve at this rate he will be a top 10 p4p at the end of 2010.

i dont think his corner did too good with the eye neither.

when JMM had success with the left uppercut diaz should have gone back to firing his jab more often and keeping JMM moving with feints and shimmy's i dont think his corner was too clued up tbh. i think once he has finished his studies and concentrates full time on his boxing we will see a better fighter.

co-sign. Diaz always had my respect, he's a real humble guy. hopefully he will bounce back once JMM moves up

i think it's time for a new trainer, it's obvious by now that Diaz always comes forward and throws alot of punches, it was a badass fight either way both fought like warriors!
